Our 2nd Annual “Sensitive Santa” was attended by 15 children and their families. This sensory friendly setting lessened the amount of anxiety children often feel when going to see Santa in a larger group/mall setting where the stress from just waiting in line often leads to having to leave without seeing Santa. We had soft music playing in a large area where children were able to move about, dance, play while waiting their turn to see Santa in a quiet, soft lit sensory friendly room. Children were able to take their time interacting with Santa and his two amazing elves. Each child left with a smile and a small gift from Santa himself!
Thank you to all who helped make this event so successful and meaningful.
