Classification: Part Time, 20 Hours (12:00pm-4:00pm)

Salary Information: $9.20hr-$10.82/hr

Job Description: Serves as receptionist to visitors and is responsible for all telephone switchboard operations for programs based at the Ontario ARC Main Facility. Acts as a secretary for Human Resources and the Finance Department and is directly accountable to the Executive Assistant

Job Requirements: High school diploma with a major in business, human resources or secretarial science and over three (3) years experience in general office practice. Excellent typing skills, computer background (especially in Word) and a good public rapport are essential.

Classification: Monday-Friday (split shifts), Hours Vary

Salary Information: $10.51-$11.26/hour

Job Description: Charged with the timely pick up and delivery of Abbey Industries, Eberhardt Center, Recreation and contract services passengers, assuring their safety and providing the necessary supervision and direction to ensure this. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain and protect the individual rights of passengers. Promotes and maintains positive and professional communication.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, and over one year applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. No moving violations for 12 months prior to hire. Valid NYS Commercial Drivers License C with Passenger Endorsement or willing to acquire within 30 days of hire. Must be Department of Motor Vehicles 19?A certifiable. Must participate in mandatory drug and alcohol testing program.

Job Description: To provide work and personal adjustment services for individuals participating in Abbey Industries' Supported Employment Program. Provision and documentation of job coaching, counseling, case management and employer contact.

Job Requirements: Associate's degree in Health, Human Services or a related field, over three years of work experience, preferably in working with disabled people or training of others, with one year of this experience to include assessment and service plan development or an equivalent amount of education/experience.

Job Description: Responsible for performing a variety of analytical and accounting assignments, many of which are confidential in nature. This position requires accounting knowledge and detailed analysis expertise. Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the agency’s monthly financial statements and various reporting. .

Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting. • Strong Excel skills. • Experience using accounting software – Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and strives for continuous improvement. • Strengths in problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills. • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet assigned deadlines.

Job Description: Responsible for and directly involved in the development, implementation, periodic review, and revision of individual’s habilitation plans for caseload of assigned participants, in accordance with Part 635 and all other applicable regulatory requirements. Observes program policies and procedures to maintain an environment that promotes the well being of participants and the protection of their individual rights, including the right to human and dignified treatment.

Job Requirements: BA/BS Degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Rehabilitation or related Human Services field. Over one year experience in treating or working with those who have developmental disabilities. Must be a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP).

Conditions of Employment: Successful completion of mandatory training requirements within first three (3) months of hire, including certification in first aid and CPR. Must be van certified

Job Description: Under the direction of the Maintenance and Custodial Manager, the Maintenance Specialist 2 is responsible for a variety of routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance issues throughout all ARC facilities. Helps to promote the maximum safety and well being of program participants, staff and visitors through attractive, well-maintained facilities. Specialist 2 person typically are assigned a specific building or buildings which they are independently responsible for such as Abbey Industries or the Eberhardt Center or are involved with complex capital projects such as new housing.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent to journeyman level and over three (3) years experience in general maintenance, building trades or custodial services or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Must possess a clean driving record

Classification: Full Time, 40 Hours

Salary Information: $65,000 Range

Job Description: Supervises agency nursing services. Oversees agency health-related training for staff. Develops, reviews and revises, as necessary, written policies and procedures in areas of medical and health-related services and medication administration, to ensure quality care, as well as compliance with OMRDD and OMH guidelines. Provides appropriate quality assurance activities, processes and review of medically related care in all agency programs.

Job Requirements: Current NYS License to practice as a Registered Nurse and five years’ experience including at least one year of supervisory experience. Current knowledge of managed care coding and reimbursement. Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques; expense control and purchasing procedures; principles and practices of effective supervision. Required to direct, motivate and evaluate staff; to plan and implement programs; to develop controls to monitor effectiveness of programs; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Conditions of Employment: Red Cross Standard First Aid (SFA) Certification/Instructor

Job Description: Replaces FT residential staff on an as needed basis. Provides supervision and assistance to residential consumers on an individual or small group basis. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being and safety of residents, the protection of their individual rights, and the provision of individualized services.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience and at least six (6) months to one (1) year of experience.

Conditions of Employment: CPR, First Aid Certification, SCIP, agency orientation and required agency trainings. Medication Administration, van certification, and occasional driver certification is optional, but program subs who acquire all three will receive additional compensation.

Job Description: Responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks related to Staff Development and Quality Assurance on an agency wide basis including meeting minutes and reports, as well as maintenance of various data bases. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive Quality Assurance information and uses discretion in presenting this material in minutes or reports. Maintains positive contacts with all program staff.

Job Requirements: Associates Degree in Applied Science (Administrative Assistant) or related field and three years related work experience or an equivalent amount of education and experience. Experience with word processing and data entry. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher , Prezi, PowerPoint and Therap Services.. Ability to master additional software as needed. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. No lifting restrictions.

Job Description: Responsible for the supervision, coordination and provision of health care and nursing services to assigned individuals served by Ontario ARC. Responsible for oversight of medication administration in a variety of agency program settings. Maintains medical and health related information. Provides counseling in individual and group settings on the maintenance of health, prevention of illness and disability and the management of chronic disease. Works with family members and staff, or other collaterals to enhance effectiveness of treatment. Provides supervision to LPNS, if needed.

Job Requirements: RN currently registered by the NYS Department of Education, with a minimum of two years experience working with persons with developmental disabilities performing or participating in assessments and treatment planning.

Job Description: Provides training to residential consumers in the activities of daily living skills and on an individual and small group basis. Implements individual goals and services recommended by the treatment team, according to methods, time frames, outlined by Residential Habilitation Plans. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being of residents and the protection of their individuals rights, while ensuring individualized services. Remains awake and on duty throughout the night.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Will be required to obtain and maintain Medication Certification.

Conditions of Employment: CPR, First Aid and SCIP certification
