Job Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for submitting Medicaid and other Agency billings utilizing specialized software and/or paper vouchers as appropriate and ensuring all billings are submitted within the required timeline. Prepare monthly journal entries to record program revenue and the corresponding receivable to the general ledger. Record payments when received; track and collect outstanding receivables and resolve billing issues, ensuring corrective action is taken as necessary. Many duties are confidential in nature.

Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associates’ Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and over one year of experience. Proficiency in computer skills: Experience using Billing software – Fund EZ and NYS eMedNY system preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel (intermediate skills) and Word. Strengths in organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet assigned deadlines.

Salary Information: $13.66-$16.15/hr

Job Description: Responsible for oversight of accurate completion of internal audit functions and related duties. Oversees the operation of the Records Room. Provides administrative support for the electronic database system, Therap. . Duties require appropriate handling of confidential materials and a high degree of competence and attention to detail.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a human services field and over five (5) years experience working in the human services field. Auditing/compliance experience a plus. Must have the ability to meet people with ease, to write and edit effectively and to communicate the written and spoken word skillfully. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of varied computer software

Classification: Full Time, and Part time, M-F day hours

Salary Information: $10.51-$11.26/hour

Job Description: Provides habilitation support services to individuals, including children, adults and elderly persons with developmental disabilities, generally on a small group or one-to-one basis in a variety of settings. Provides training opportunities designed to enhance each person’s self-sufficiency in the areas of personal independence, community integration and productivity. Promotes the well being of participants and the protection of their individual rights, through the support of agency mission, vision and values. Maintains the confidentiality of participants’ personal information, in accordance with legal requirements

Job Requirements: H.S. Diploma and one (1) year relevant experience or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Reliable means of transportation and safe driving record.

Conditions of Employment: Successful completion of mandatory training requirements within first three (3) months of hire, including certification in Behavior Management (SCIP-R), Certification to drive agency vehicles/vans, Lifting and other physical assistance techniques, CPR and First Aid. Medication Administration certification and Occasional Driver Certification (transporting individuals in staff’s personal vehicle) may also be required. Successful completion of All Staff Are Teachers (ASAT) training requirements within one year of hire. Will work successfully with assigned Peer Coach, and will complete all aspects of training within 3 months of class completion.

Job Description: Charged with the timely pick up and delivery of Abbey Industries, Eberhardt Center, Recreation and contract services passengers, assuring their safety and providing the necessary supervision and direction to ensure this. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain and protect the individual rights of passengers. Promotes and maintains positive and professional communication.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, and over one year applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. No moving violations for 12 months prior to hire. Valid NYS Commercial Drivers License C with Passenger Endorsement or willing to acquire within 30 days of hire. Must be Department of Motor Vehicles 19?A certifiable. Must participate in mandatory drug and alcohol testing program.

Classification: Part Time, 20 hrs, Days Monday - Friday, varies

Salary Information: $10.51- $11.26 /hour

Job Description: To provide work and on-the-job training services for individuals participating in the College and Community Experience Program.

Job Requirements: High school diploma and three (3) years of relevant experience.

Classification: Monday - Friday, day hours

Salary Information: $35,000 - $40,000

Job Description: The IT Support Coordinator provides superior customer service by supporting the development, implementation and on-going operations and monitoring of Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), desktop systems and other technological solutions to securely and effectively meet the information systems needs of the Agency. This position offers tier 2 supports to assist Information Systems team members provide a high level of customer service and technical expertise.

Job Requirements: Must Have: College degree in computer science or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred) and over five (5) years of experience providing technical desktop and network support in a multi-platform environment for small to medium sized companies. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Network performance tuning, LAN/WAN knowledge, network design and implementation, problem solving, quality focus, technical understanding. Good communication and organizational skills required. Experience in administration of Microsoft networking environments. Experience in VMWare virtualized SAN network environments preferred. CompTIA A+ and Network+ certification desired. Experience supporting enterprise systems in a health care or managed care environment a plus.

Job Description: Responsible for the implementation and oversight of the Pathway to Employment program. Employs a variety of interviewing, testing and observation techniques in the assessment of an individual’s vocational interests, skills, limitations and potential in a vocational setting. Provides both written and verbal feedback to participant, family and referring agents.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, assessment or related field and over one year of relevant experience. Strong communication and organizational skills essential, previous experience in assessment and/or training of others in a community setting preferred

Classification: Part Time, 20 hours per week

Salary Information: $11.00-$12.98/hr

Job Description: To provide work and career development services for individuals participating in the Pathway to Employment Program. Provision and documentation of job coaching, counseling, case management and employer contact.

Job Requirements: Associate's degree in Health, Human Services or a related field, over three years of work experience, preferably in working with disabled people or training of others, with one year of this experience to include assessment and service plan development or an equivalent amount of education/experience

Salary Information: $9.93-$10.68/hour

Job Description: Replaces FT residential staff on an as needed basis. Provides supervision and assistance to residential consumers on an individual or small group basis. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being and safety of residents, the protection of their individual rights, and the provision of individualized services.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience and at least six (6) months to one (1) year of experience.

Conditions of Employment: CPR, First Aid Certification, SCIP, agency orientation and required agency trainings. Medication Administration, van certification, and occasional driver certification is optional, but program subs who acquire all three will receive additional compensation.

Classification: Part time, 20 hours per week

Salary Information: $11.00/hr-$12.98/hr

Job Description: To provide work and personal adjustment services for individuals participating in the Project SEARCH Program. Provision and documentation of job coaching, counseling, case management and employer contact.

Job Requirements: Associate's degree in Health, Human Services or a related field, over three years of work experience, preferably in working with disabled people or training of others, with one year of this experience to include assessment and service plan development or an equivalent amount of education/experience. .

Classification: Full Time, 40 hours. (Schedule will include evening and weekend hours)

Salary Information: $12.94-$15.28/hour

Job Description: Performs a variety of supervisory, participant-related and administrative functions associated with the provision of a year round program of recreation and respite services for children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities. Is responsible for implementation and oversight of planned services and activities, including staffing, scheduling, registration and fees, community contacts, etc. Promotes the well-being of participants and protection of their individual rights, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and agency philosophy and policies.

Job Requirements: Minimum of Bachelors Degree in relevant area and over three (3) years relevant experience, at least one (1) of which is supervisory. An equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered.

Classification: Part time, evening weekend hours

Salary Information: $9.93-$10.68/hour

Job Description: Responsible for conducting agency recreation activities, including leisure time and social events, Special Children's Rec programs, and Special Olympics Training Club. Observes agency policies and procedures to maintain an environment which promotes the well-being of participants and the protection of their individual rights, including the right to humane and dignified treatment.

Job Requirements: H.S. Diploma and one (1) year relevant experience or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Safe driving record.

Conditions of Employment: CPR and First Aid Certification. May be asked to become certified to drive agency vehicles.

Salary Information: $10.51-$11.26/hour

Job Description: Provides training to residential consumers in the activities of daily living skills and on an individual and small group basis. Implements individual goals and services recommended by the treatment team, according to methods, time frames, outlined by Residential Habilitation Plans. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being of residents and the protection of their individuals rights, while ensuring individualized services. Remains awake and on duty throughout the night.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Will be required to obtain and maintain Medication Certification.

Conditions of Employment: CPR, First Aid and SCIP certification

Classification: Part time, 25 hours week , (hours may vary to include evenings and weekends)
