Job Description: Performs a variety of administrative and secretarial duties for Director, Development to include annual giving, events, agency volunteers, public relations and donor database oversight with a high degree of confidentiality. As a member of the Public Relations Department, provides oversight to the main facility reception desk as it serves as the first impression of Ontario ARC. Promotes positive and professional communication and effective working relationships among programs and agency staff, and the general public.

Job Requirements: AAS degree and up to three (3) years secretarial experience in a Public Relations/Fund Raising environment preferred, or equivalent combination of the above. Excellent organizational ability, written and verbal communications skills. Ability to merge, batch, and extract data using a Windows based pc with Microsoft Word and fund raising database. Must have neat appearance, excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility during peak times (i.e. special events).

Job Description: Responsibilities require supervisory and accounting skills. This position reports to and supports the Associate Executive Director, CFO. Responsibilities include performing a variety of analytical and accounting duties. The position will continuously review and improve processes and procedures. Position’s responsibilities include overseeing daily operating accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, billing and collection, cash receipts and purchasing

Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, minimum of 4+ years accounting experience. • Must have strong supervisory skills. • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, multi-tasking, managerial, analytical, problem solving and keen attention to detail skills. • Excellent Excel skills. • Experience using accounting software. Microsoft Dynamics - Great Plains experience is a plus.

Classification: Full and Part Time, Overnight Hours

Salary Information: $15.00/hr

Job Description: Carries out the provision of various custodial contracts and instructs and supervises assigned program participants. Provides for the safe transportation of program participants and materials to and from the various job sites as required.

Job Requirements: Over two years relevant work experience with knowledge of custodial operations and experience in supervision of others. Valid NYS Driver's license, no moving violations for twelve (12) months prior to hire.

Conditions of Employment: CPR and agency first aid.

Additonal Information: 7 days a week custodial operation, alternating weekends off 8 hour shifts and partial shifts available. **Bonus given at peak times, (i.e. holidays)

Job Description: Carries out the routine cleaning and tasks needed for the various custodial contracts. Trains program participants in proper cleaning methods and techniques.

Job Description: Direct participation in performing daily custodial duties, as well as special project assignments. Emphasis is on satisfaction of customer requirements, with quality and timely completion as the performance standard. Performs custodial duties with small group or independent of crew and Custodial Crew Chief.

Job Description: Charged with the timely pick up and delivery of Abbey Industries, Eberhardt Center, Recreation and contract services passengers, assuring their safety and providing the necessary supervision and direction to ensure this. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain and protect the individual rights of passengers. Promotes and maintains positive and professional communication.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, and over one year applicable experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. No moving violations for 12 months prior to hire. Valid NYS Commercial Drivers License C with Passenger Endorsement or willing to acquire within 30 days of hire. Must be Department of Motor Vehicles 19?A certifiable. Must participate in mandatory drug and alcohol testing program.

Job Description: To provide work and on-the-job training services for individuals participating in Supported Employment and Prevocational services.

Job Description: Responsible for the overall maintenance of all Ontario ARC sites, which includes, all seasonal responsibilities of general landscape maintenance to comprise but not be limited to all lawn care, shrub planting and trimming. This position will be responsible for painting interior and exterior of all sites, as well as assisting the Maintenance Specialists, as needed.

Job Requirements: High school diploma and a combination of two (2) years’ experience in painting/landscaping maintenance or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Job Description: Schedules/arranges and provides transportation, supervision, assistance, and advocacy to residential participants for medical, dental, and other scheduled health-related appointments. Serves as a liaison between health-care providers and residential staff, in order to assure adequate health care, follow-up, and communication

Job Requirements: H. S. Diploma or equivalent. Two years of experience performing or participating in assessments or service planning for the developmentally disabled or other populations OR Associates degree in Human Services and one year of experience as outlined above. Valid NYS Driver's License with a safe driving record. Must have own reliable transportation, to utilize as needed for transporting residents to appointments. Individual must be self-directed and organized. Experience/ training in medical duties preferred.

Job Description: Performs a variety of supervisory, resident related and program administrative functions to ensure efficient day to day operation of assigned residential sites or departments. Has general responsibility for the overall development, implementation, periodic review and revision of residential habilitation plans for all residents. Serves as QMRP for residential habilitation plans for assigned sites. Helps to ensure a homelike environment is maintained in a safe, sanitary, and attractive condition. Ensures that program policies and procedures are implemented or observed by staff, to promote the well being of residents and the protection of their individual rights, and while ensuring individualized services are provided.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Field and over three (3) years relevant experience including one (1) year performing or participating in assessments and service planning for the developmentally disabled or other population and one (1) year of supervisory experience, or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Valid NYS Driver's License with no moving violations 12 months prior to date of hire.

Conditions of Employment: CPR and First Aid certification. SCIP certification, if necessary. Medication Administration Certification. Certification to drive agency vehicles and Occasional Driver certification. Dependent upon site, may need certification to give Diabetic Injections.

Classification: Flexible Schedule

Salary Information: $10.28-$11.03/hour

Job Description: Replaces FT residential staff on an as needed basis. Provides supervision and assistance to residential consumers on an individual or small group basis. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being and safety of residents, the protection of their individual rights, and the provision of individualized services.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience and at least six (6) months to one (1) year of experience.

Conditions of Employment: CPR, First Aid Certification, SCIP, agency orientation and required agency trainings. Medication Administration, van certification, and occasional driver certification is optional, but program subs who acquire all three will receive additional compensation.

Job Description: Responsible for site oversight, including scheduling and supervision of DSP’s. Involved in problem solving and day to day conflict resolution. Communicates regularly with all members of the team, including families. Is a resource to site staff providing and scheduling necessary trainings as well as providing direction on the day-to-day routine of the site, participant routines, and agency policies and procedures. Ensures active and meaningful habilitation is provided in accordance with OPWDD regulations. Implements and supervises general program functions. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to ensure safety of and promote the well-being of participants and the protection of their individual rights. Maintains knowledge of procedures and systems in the operation of the setting, which may include medical procedures, medication ordering, recreation, nutrition and menu planning, and site finances as well as all related documentation. Demonstrates the agency mission, vision and values, as well as ensures the practice of these by Direct Support Professionals

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and over one year relevant experience or an equivalent amount of education/experience. Field- specific experience preferred. Valid NYS Driver's License with no moving violations twelve (12) months prior to hire.

Conditions of Employment: CPR and First Aid Certification and Medication Administration. Positive Approaches. All Staff are Teachers training and peer coach designation. Will be required to obtain and maintain Agency Driver Certification. Successful completion and maintenance of agency-sponsored CPR/1st Aid certification. Job Description: Responsible for conducting agency recreation activities, including leisure time and social events, Special Children's Rec programs, and Special Olympics Training Club. Classification: Full Time, 30 Hours, M-F DAYS

Salary Information: $23.55/hr

Job Description: Responsible for the supervision, coordination and provision of health care and nursing services to assigned individuals served by Ontario ARC. Responsible for oversight of medication administration in a variety of agency program settings. Maintains medical and health related information. Provides counseling in individual and group settings on the maintenance of health, prevention of illness and disability and the management of chronic disease. Works with family members and staff, or other collaterals to enhance effectiveness of treatment. Provides supervision to LPNS, if needed.

Job Requirements: RN currently registered by the NYS Department of Education, with a minimum of two years experience working with persons with developmental disabilities performing or participating in assessments and treatment planning.

Job Description: May serve as QMRP to oversee Individual Residential plans. Provides training to residents in the activities of daily living on an individual and small group basis. Develops and implements individual goals and services recommended by the treatment team. Trains site staff on proper implementation, methods, and time frames. Performs a variety of supervisory, resident related and program administrative functions to ensure efficient day to day operation of assigned residential site. Job Description: Responsible for direct supervision of personnel responsible for job coaching and follow-along services provided by Abbey Industries Supported Employment Program. Performs Employment Specialist job duties for individuals assigned to their caseload, including documentation of job coaching, counseling, case management and employer contact. Insures that Employment Specialists under their supervision are doing the same.

Job Requirements: Associate’s degree in Health, Human Services or a related field. Over three years of work experience, preferably in working with disabled people or training of others, with one year of this experience to include assessment and service plan development.

Classification: Part Time & Full Time, Evening & Overnight Hours

Salary Information: $10.86-$11.61/hour

Job Description: Provides training to residential consumers in the activities of daily living skills and on an individual and small group basis. Implements individual goals and services recommended by the treatment team, according to methods, time frames, outlined by Residential Habilitation Plans. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being of residents and the protection of their individuals rights, while ensuring individualized services. Remains awake and on duty throughout the night.

Job Requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience. Will be required to obtain and maintain Medication Certification.

Classification: Full Time, 30 Hours Per Week

Salary Information: $12.19/hr-$14.32/hr

Job Description: Responsible for performance of community and facility based assessments. Employs a variety of interviewing, testing and observation techniques in the assessment of an individual’s vocational interests, skills, limitations and potential in a vocational setting. Provides both written and verbal feedback to participant, family and referring agents.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, assessment or related field and over one year of relevant experience. Strong communication and organizational skills essential, previous experience in assessment and/or training of others in a community setting preferred
