Job Description: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for submitting Medicaid and other Agency billings utilizing specialized software and/or paper vouchers as appropriate and ensuring all billings are submitted within the required timeline. Prepare monthly journal entries to record program revenue and the corresponding receivable to the general ledger. Record payments when received; track and collect outstanding receivables and resolve billing issues, ensuring corrective action is taken as necessary. Many duties are confidential in nature.
Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associates’ Degree in Accounting or Business Administration and over one year of experience. Proficiency in computer skills: Experience using Billing software – Fund EZ and NYS eMedNY system preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel (intermediate skills) and Word. Strengths in organizational skills with attention to detail and multi-tasking. Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet assigned deadlines.

Job Description: Along with the Director, Community Relations, develops and implements agency communication plan to meet the agency’s internal and external marketing needs. Responsible for all agency publication management and community relations functions of the agency. Responsible for agency media relations designed to enhance community image and provide on-going information on ARC activities. This position maintains daily content for agency's social media presence including Facebook, Twitter, Instragram and Agency Blog.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Graphic Design and one year of applicable experience. Knowledge of computer design programs required. Must have proven communication, design and organizational skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Additonal Information: Media Relations 1. Establishes media contact and good media relations ensuring regular coverage of Ontario ARC. Including, but not limited to: • Press releases to include monthly specific volunteers needed, Special Events, announcements of grants, new Board members, staff promotions, new hires, and staff awards/presentations, etc. • Story pitches to area-wide media for feature stories, promoting agency programs and services. • Annual media campaigns to include Intellectual and Developmental Awareness Month and National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Direct Support Professionals, etc. 2. Promotes all agency events, internally and externally through print, radio and TV coverage.

Job Description: Replaces FT residential staff on an as needed basis. Provides supervision and assistance to residential consumers on an individual or small group basis. Observes agency and program policies and procedures to maintain a residential environment that promotes the well being and safety of residents, the protection of their individual rights, and the provision of individualized services.
Job Requirements: High school diploma or an equivalent amount of education and/or experience and at least six (6) months to one (1) year of experience.
Conditions of Employment: CPR, First Aid Certification, SCIP, agency orientation and required agency trainings. Medication Administration, van certification, and occasional driver certification is optional, but program subs who acquire all three will receive additional compensation.

Job Description: : Responsible for the supervision, coordination and provision of health care and nursing services to individuals served by Ontario ARC. Responsible for oversight of medication administration in a variety of agency program settings. Maintains medical and health related information. Provides counseling in individual and group settings on the maintenance of health, prevention of illness and disability and the management of chronic disease. Works with family members and staff, or other collaterals to enhance effectiveness of treatment. Provides professional and technical supervision to LPN’S, if needed.
Job Requirements: RN currently registered by the NYS Department of Education, with a minimum of two years experience working with the developmentally disabled performing or participating in assessments and treatment planning.

Conditions of Employment: Specialized training and/or certification in Positive Approaches, lifting and other physical assistance techniques. CPR and First Aid.
Classification: Full time 40 hours, Sunday-Thursday, 7am-3pm

Job Description: Responsible for working out of a site with a manager who is shared with another location, thus assumes additional duties of technical supervision and problem solving. Implements coaching plan with newly hired and transferred Skills Instructors and Program Substitutes. Ensures residential site is properly staffed to meet the daily needs of the site. Provides training and implements individual goals and services according to Residential Habilitative Plan with individuals in the residential setting. Is a resource to site staff providing training, orientation, and direction on the day-to-day routine of the site, resident routines, and agency policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of procedures and systems in the operation of the residential setting including medical procedures and medication ordering, recreation, Single Personal Record-Therap, nutrition and menu planning, and site finances. May be asked to perform duties in place of or in absence of the Residence Manager, including contacts, scheduling, staff training and redirection, problem solving and day to day conflict resolution, and overall responsibility for the site maintenance and participant well being. Communicates regularly with all members of the residents’ teams, including families.
Job Requirements: HS Diploma and over two years relevant experience or an equivalent amount of education/experience. Residential specific experience preferred but not required. Valid NYS Driver's License with no moving violations twelve (12) months prior to hire. Will be required to obtain and maintain Occasional Driver Certification and Agency Driver Certification. Must be 21 years of age to meet these requirements. Will also be required to obtain and maintain Medication Certification.
