Camp-andaigua is a camp opportunity offered through a partnership between The Autism Center at Ontario ARC and the Town of Canandaigua. Each session will be held at Onanda Park in Canandaigua, New York, and will focus on teaching life skills in a fun and dynamic atmosphere.
Elements of the camp include: water and boating safety skills, learning about living in a lake community, fishing, canoeing, community projects, and more.
The skills and experiences offered through the Camp-andaigua partnership will be valuable in both personal and professional development, and will provide a valuable community focus.
Eligibility & Requirement
To attend the Summer Day Camp through The Autism Center at Ontario ARC, campers must have an intellectual or other developmental disability, including autism, and be between the ages of 10-13 or 14-21. Please be aware that there is a minimum number of registrants required for this camp. If the minimum number is not fulfilled, the session will not take place.
The cost for each session is $200 and scholarship opportunities are available! The registration fee is $25. Camp sessions are available on a first-come first-served basis. Transportation is not provided.
