Ontario ARC’s largest fundraiser – Cruisin’ for a Cause – raised over $62,000 on August 18th. The proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of Ontario ARC Foundation and the growing menu of innovative services for people with disabilities and other challenges.
“Thanks to the generosity of our community at Cruisin’ for a Cause, Ontario ARC can continue growing its menu of programs and services that impact the lives of the people we support,” said Ann Scheetz, Executive Director at Ontario ARC. “A special thank you to our honorary chairs, Bob and Nancy Sheridan and Mike and Sue Sheridan, and to our hosts, the Canandaigua Country Club.”
The 24th annual event featured exciting live and silent auction items, dinner catered by Nolan’s, and music with Nik and the Nice Guys. Nearly 600 people turned out to support the agency.
Ontario ARC’s signature events are made possible thanks to the continued support of generous community partners.
