Pet Connections to Host TAGteach International Advanced Training for Sport Coaches, Parents, Dog Trainers, and Teachers in Canandaigua, NY

TAGteach International is offering an Advanced Workshop for teachers, parents, sport coaches, corporate trainers and therapists who want to refine and improve the way they communicate with learners to get the best possible results in the least amount of time. The 2-day workshop will be held at Ontario ARC, 3071 County Complex Drive in Canandaigua on Friday, August 25th and Saturday, August 26th, 2017. The event will be hosted by Pet Connections, a division of Ontario ARC.

TAGteachTM is a ground-breaking teaching technology that gives you a powerful way to communicate for fast-track learning, whether you work with elite athletes, non-verbal children with autism, medical students, dog owners, corporate training or anything in between. You’ll learn to teach more and talk less while applying the principles of behavior science to your teaching. TAGteach lets you focus on building up small successes to ensure maximum teaching and learning efficiency.

The Advanced TAGteach Workshop will be of interest to teachers, coaches and adult students as well as parents of children with disabilities or other challenges who wish to use positive and precise teaching tools and who have previous experience with TAGteach, ABA or clicker training. A discount on Level 1 TAGteach certification online is offered for those registrants without experience.  The 2-day workshop will bring together coaches, parents, and teachers from many disciplines to learn from Joey Iversen, a highly experienced member of the TAGteach Faculty.

“TAGteach is going to change the way I teach for the rest of my career. Without a doubt I would recommend this training to everybody. I like that I don’t have to correct them every time. The students are self-correcting because they either hear the tag or they don’t, which is where the true learning happens,” said Cheryl Anderson – Director of Instruction, Mike Bender Golf Academy, and 2006 National LPGA Teacher of the Year.

“TAGteach has an important future in the treatment of autism and other developmental delays,” said Joseph Morrow, PhD, BCBA-D, President Applied Behavior Consultants Inc. and Professor of Psychology and Behavior Analysis, California State University.

Seminar attendee, Anja Rudolf – University of Applied Science, Ingolstadt, Germany, had this to say about the TAGteach certification seminar, “I thought this was a great seminar, but I had no idea of how it would change my life.”

The cost for registering for this event $425.00/person. For more information about this event, please contact Gail Furst at or (585) 919-2146. Additional details and registration information can also be found online at
