We are thrilled to announce that a brand new fun, full body cardio workout class is being offered at Ontario ARC’s Main Facility: POUND Fitness! Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 4:15PM – 5:15PM.
Fall 2017: Oct. 24 – Dec 12
Winter 2018: Jan. 9 – Mar. 6 (no class 2/19)
Spring 2018: Mar. 20 – May 15 (no class 4/3)
Summer 2018: Jun. 5 – Jul. 31 ( no class 7/3)
Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND® transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.
Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® can easily be adapted for people of all ages and abilities.
This class is open to Ontario ARC staff, families, people we support, and the community. Be sure to bring a water bottle, and wear sneakers and comfortable clothing!
Cost: $50 for the 8 Week Session (Minimum of 8 registrants required for class to run.)
